28,952 lit carved pumpkins - known of course as Jack o' Lanterns - filled the city of Keene New Hampshire as local families and visitors alike brought in a record number for the 2003 celebration. This year's event is scheduled for October 20, 2012. Welcome to the Best of Keene Pumpkin Festival, a photo web site celebrating the color and excitement of the festival by photographer Al Braden.
